Another article of the series begun by Bert Collier (see "Richard Keith Call Opposed Florida's Secession") published in the Palm Beach Post is identical to that from the Fort Myers News-Press. Though this article doesn't provide any additional information on Call's stance on the Civil War, secession, or slavery, the widespread publication of this article exemplifies the importance of this history to Floridians in the 1970s.
